PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the above mentioned governmental body will meet at the date, time, and place above. The tentative agenda for said meeting is as follows:

  • Members of the public are invited to address items not on the agenda. Please limit comments to two minutes. Official action cannot be taken by the Board at that time, but may be placed on a future agenda or referred to the appropriate department.

  • Approve minutes from March 20, 2017
  • Approve claims and authorize Auditor to issue checks
  • Review/Act on a payroll addition for Andrew Hockenson, Conservation, Rachel Lindner, CBS andAlexander Matthew, Roadside Vegetation Management
  • Review/Act on application for  liquor license renewal for Willow Run Country Club, 940 E Fayette St, Denver   
  • Review/Adopt a Resolution approving sale of unused property and authorizing Board Chair and Auditor to execute and deliver the deed
  • Review/Authorize Board Chair to sign an audit engagement letter with Anderson, Larkin & CO. P.C. for completion of the county’s FY17 audit
  • Consider establishing a Good Neighbor Policy in regards to livestock farms, confinement operations and the citizens of Bremer County
  • Discuss county zoning regulations and the ability to impose conditions
