BUILDING/ZONING, ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH DIRECTOR
 
The Bremer County Board of Supervisors is seeking applications for the position of Building, Zoning and Environmental Health Department Director. Candidates for this position must have at least 5 years experience in a municipal or county building and zoning, environmental health department or related field including supervisory experience, and a thorough knowledge of the ICC building, mechanical, plumbing and NEC electrical codes, as well as a comprehensive knowledge of code enforcement principles, community planning and environmental health regulations. Certification in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable, ICC plans examiner, combination inspector, or building official, NEHA certification as REHS or RS. The salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications with benefit package offered. Submit cover letter, Bremer County employment application, resume and references electronically to: kjohansen@co.bremer.ia.us or by mail to the Bremer County Auditor, 415 E.
